May has been a busy one, nine posts this month - new products, behindโtheโscenes moments, engineering plastics galore, and a whole lot of team pride.

April Rewind

April gave us a great opportunity to step back and reflect on what really keeps things moving here at ASC Metals...
That's our people and the work we’re proud to support.
We celebrated some fantastic milestones across the team:
• Jacqueline Wright marked 7 years with ASC (and an incredible 39 years in the industry). For our Leeds customers, she’s a trusted and familiar voice who understands exactly what’s needed to keep things running smoothly.
• Lisa Rowden reached 8 years with us - playing a key role behind the scenes in our office, keeping organised, efficient, and the delivery notes on track.
• Danny hit his 6-year milestone - starting very early every morning, covering the miles, and ensuring deliveries arrive reliably across the Leeds area.
Alongside this, we shared more about the materials we supply and how they support our customers’ work.
Brass - particularly CZ121 - featured heavily this month.
Its machinability, reliability, and versatility make it a go-to choice across a wide range of applications, from precision components to everyday engineering needs.
We also introduced our brochure - a straightforward overview of how we support engineering, manufacturing, and fabrication businesses. Clear, practical, and focused on making things easier for our customers.
April has been a strong reminder that consistency, experience, and attention to detail make a real difference - both in the materials we supply and the service we provide.
